Desirable Swiss ZFK31/55 Straight Pull Sniper Rifle with Matching Scope, Scope Case and Accessories - Serial no. 3274, 7.5 mm Swiss cal., 25 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock. Manufactured 1955-1958, the ZFK31/55 is a derivative of the K31 rifle configured for precision long range shooting that is complete with its matching 3.5X sniper scope. Reportedly 4,150 were produced in total. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with a combined flash hider and bayonet lug unit integrated into the sight, “Swiss Cross and Shield” engraved on the receiver ring, and a set of integrally forged scope bases on the left side of the receiver. Matching serial numbers are present on the barrel, receiver, bolt, magazine and the scope, with the magazine also marked out “Zf.Kar.”, denoting use with a scoped rifle, and the scope marked “KERN AARAU/V=3.5/(view angle symbol)=75 0/00”. The scope is fitted with a set of integral claw bases, with a three-post reticle. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a folding bipod just ahead of the magazine well, forearm grooves, checkered wrist, brown leather sling and a flat buttplate. Included with the rifle is a “55” marked spare parts kit, an adapter screw for installing a Harris-style bipod in lieu of the current model, and a matching numbered scope case. CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the original matte blue finish, showing a gray patina on the barrel, bright edge wear, and scattered minor spotting and handling marks. The stock is good, showing a number of scuffs and dents, and the sling is good. The very fine scope shows a mixed patina on the exterior, with clear optics and solid reticle. Mechanically excellent. World War II British Enfield No. 4 Mk I (T) Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with No. 32 Mk III Scope, Transit Case and Accessories - Serial no. 15C5961, 303 cal., 25 inch round bbl., phosphate/black finish, hardwood stock. Manufactured in 1942, the Number 4 Mark 1 (T) Sniper was the signature sniper weapon of Great Britain up to the 1960s, serving well in both World War II and Korea. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with the fixed “battle sight” properly removed from the latter to accommodate the scope. The receiver is marked “No4 MkI*” on the left side, with a “crown/BNP” receiver ring and the socket marked “ENGLAND/15C5961/S/1942/(flaming bomb)”. A matching serial number is also present on the bolt. Smooth straight wrist stock, with “JC/(broad arrow)” on the underside of the forearm, a proper raised cheekpiece screwed to the comb, and an alloy buttplate. The scope is installed in a ring set with “C 37825” on the left, and “X838” and “X837” on the front and rear ring halves. The scope body bears the Number 32 Mk 3 nomenclature over “O.S. 2039 A/AK&S No17686/1945/(broad arrow)”. Included with the rifle is a green painted hardwood transit case, with a Golden State Arms label identifying the contents of the case as an Enfield Sniper, and a green painted metal scope case. CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the black finish on the barrel and barrel bands, showing some light wear and handling marks, and 85% of the phosphate finish remaining on the receiver, showing areas of mixed gray patina, edge wear and handling marks. The stock is fine, with mild scratches and dents. The scope body has turned a brown patina with verdigris from contact with the lens caps, with good optics and some roughness around the edges of the reticle post. The transit case is very good, with some scuffs, dents and finish loss, and the scope case shows some internal repairs, with the support posts re-welded into place. Mechanically excellent. Desirable and Excellent Swiss K31/43 Straight Pull Sniper Rifle with Side Mounted Sniper Scope - Serial no. 451099, 7.5 mm Swiss cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock. Introduced in 1943, this K31 sniper variant uses a side mounted low power scope with an elevation adjustment mechanism patterned after a conventional tangent rear sight and a swiveling periscope head objective lens that can fold down partially into the stock for protection. The scope elevation mechanism is obstructed, likely with dried grease, otherwise the scope is in good order with clear optics. The stock is also excellent, with a few mild dents and scuffs.
