Engraved and Gold Inlaid Krieghoff Model 32 Over/Under Shotgun Four Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 4838, 12 gauge,
28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1969. Blued Bohler-Lauftstahl steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard Krieghoff barrel markings and German proof marks, and chambers marked 70 mm (2 3/4 inches) with automatic ejectors. The blued action displays attractive floral scrollwork over a matted background
surrounding a trio of relief inlaid gold mallards in flight on the left, a gold trio of pheasants on the right, and a gold crown on
the toplever. Single selective gold trigger and tang mounted manual safety switch. beautifully figured, fancy checkered forend with
engraved fittings including the Deeley latch style release lever and pistol grip Hydro-Coil style stock with Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Included with the gun are three matching numbered extra barrel sets all measuring 28 inches with vent ribs and a takedown case that houses the whole set. Barrel measurements for the 20 gauge set (U/O): chambers marked 76 mm (3 inches); bore diameter nine inches from the breech measured at .639/.633 inches; choke constriction .003/.002 inches; minimum wall thickness .035/.045 inches. Barrel measurements for the 28 gauge set (U/O): chambers marked 76 mm (3 inches); bore diameter nine inches from the breech measured at .557/.556 inches; choke constriction .007/.006 inches; minimum wall thickness .037/.049 inches. Barrel measurements for the .410 bore set: chambers marked 76 mm (3 inches); choke constriction .007/.009 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the 12 gauge set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech measured at .733/.733 inches; choke constriction .006/.007 inches; minimum wall thickness .045/.039 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 13 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs 12 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence primarily on the bottom of the action and lower tang. The wood is very fine with a few minor marks, Hydro- Coil stock inoperable, and sharp checkering. The case is very fine with light wear and the extra barrels are all excellent. Factory Engraved Krieghoff K-80 Over/Under Shotgun with Barrel Inserts and Case - Serial no. 13112, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/ bright finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard Krieghoff barrel markings and German proofs, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are currently fitted with 20 gauge inserts with interchangeable chokes. The bright action features light floral scrollwork, correct markings, single selective trigger, and a tang mounted safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with Deeley latch
style release and pistol grip stock with Decelerator recoil pad. Includes a factory takedown case containing four barrel inserts (two 28 gauge and two .410 bore), assorted extra choke tubes for each, stock removal tool, and cleaning supplies. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 9 lbs 5 oz.
CONDITION: Very good as refurbished, retaining 99% blue with worn gold plating on the trigger, polished bright action, minor handling evidence, and a tiny spot of flaking on the triggerguard. The wood is very fine with scattered light dings and scratches and
crisp checkering. The case is very good with broken latches and the barrel inserts are excellent. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 7,000
