Exceptional Colt
First Issue Officer’s
Model Double
Action Revolver - Serial no. 249000, 38 Long Colt
cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
in 1904-1908 with the standard two-line address and patent
dates ending with 1901 on top of the barrel and model/caliber
marking on the left. There is a circled Rampant Colt marked on the
left of the frame and “VP” on the left of the trigger guard. The cylinder
correctly rotates counter-clockwise with an interior measurement for a
cartridge with a .381 base, suggesting .38 Long Colt rather than .38 Special.
Fitted with pinned blade and windage adjustable notch sights, checkered trigger, hammer, and
back strap; and a pair of checkered walnut grips.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains 99% of the bright original high polish blue finish with some
extremely light edge wear and a light cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent plus with a few scattered light blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. One will look a long time to improve on this outstanding example!

Colt Super 38 Semi-Automatic Pistol in
Colt .38 AMU - Serial no. 160592, 38 AMU
cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1962 and subsequently upgraded to current
configuration. Fixed Patridge blade front and fully adjustable BO-MAR rear
notch sights. The slide is marked “COLT .38 AMU/AUTOMATIC”. Fitted with
an adjustable serrated trigger, serrated arched mainspring housing and checkered grips.
The front strap of this pistol features a stippled texture for a more positive grip. Magazine
floorplate marked for Super .38 Auto with two tapped holes.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with scattered handling marks,
some spotting on the trigger, and some spotting on the front of the frame. Grips are also very
fine with limited handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Camp
Perry Single Shot
Single Action Target Pistol - Serial no. 2194,
22 LR cal., 8 inch part round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured from 1920 to 1941 with this example
manufactured in 1935, this model was created by modifying
an Officer’s Model frame to accept a special flat single shot “cylinder”.
Colt named this model after the site of the U.S. Target Competition
held annually at Camp Perry, Ohio. Only 2,525 Camp Perry pistols were
manufactured. This example has standard markings and features.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks and some light edge/handling wear. The grips are very fine with a couple light chips in the bottom corners of the left panel and otherwise crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Mid Range Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. 6010-MR, 38 special mid range cal., 5
inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Introduced in 1960. Standard
markings and features.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with limited
handling marks. The grips are very fine with some slight wear on the checkering and age darkening. The last round hold open does not consistently lock open on an empty magazine, otherwise mechanically fine.

Revolver - Serial no. 339022, 45 LC cal., 6
inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in
1935. The revolver has an elevation adjustable front sight, a
windage adjustable rear sight, standard Colt markings, a crane
numbered to the gun, and highly figured Roper grips.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with a
very faint cylinder drag line and limited handling marks. The period
replacement Roper grips are exceptionally fine with a slight chip at the
top (left panel), a few handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750

Swenson Upgraded Colt Super 38 Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 185497,
38 super cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish,
plastic grips. Manufactured in 1966 and
subsequently customized. Standard markings
as well as an “A.D. SWENSON/GARDENA,
CALIF.” stamping on the right side of the slide
between the Rampant Colt and slide serrations
and on the frame below the serial number. This pistol features the typical
Swenson sight upgrade, replacing the standard rear sight with a Smith &
Wesson style adjustable sight.
CONDITION: Very fine as customized/upgraded to current configuration by Swenson, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks. The grips are fair with some age warping, a crack at the top of the right panel, and crisp checkering. The last round hold open does not activate when magazine is empty, this issue was resolved however when tested with another magazine. Otherwise, mechanically fine. with Scarce Dual Caliber .44 Russian/S&W
Markings - Serial no. 338956, 44 Russian S&W special cal., 6
inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1934.
The revolver has an elevation adjustable blade front sight, a
windage adjustable square notch rear sight, a barrel marked “NEW
SERVICE” followed by “RUSSIAN AND/S&W SPECIAL” and “44” on the left
side, checkered grip straps, and a crane numbered to the gun.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with light
cylinder drag line and a spot of dark pitting at the muzzle. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Includes original box. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with a few light handing marks and faint takedown lever line. The slightly shrunken grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250
