Colt M16 Automatic Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully
Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 5107878, 5.56x45
mm cal., 14 inch round bbl., matte black phosphate finish,
synthetic stock. Manufactured between 1973 and 1982, this vintage pre- 1986 Colt M16 lower receiver has been upgraded with a later production A4 patter upper receiver assembly outfitted with an A.R.M.S. SIR free- floating handguard, giving the flexibility of current “modern sporting rifle” design in a fully transferable automatic weapon. Post front and pop-up adjustable two leaf rear sights, closed-bottom birdcage flash hider on
the 1/9” twist barrel, and a bayonet lug. The lower has the traditional
Colt model markings and address on the left side, with a “SAFE/SEMI/ AUTO” marked right-handed selector switch, checkered pistol grip, and a Bushmaster brand 6-position telescoping buttstock. The bolt carrier and bolt head are both matte gray finished, and a one piece buffer is installed. A canvas soft case is included.
CONDITION: Very fine as assembled, with 90% of the matte
black phosphate finish, showing a number of scratches
and dings on the lower receiver and lighter handling
marks on the upper receiver and stock. Mechanically
excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act
(NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with
the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives,
(BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C.
Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.

Scarce Springfield Armory (Inc) M1A Fully Automatic Battle Rifle, Class III/
NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 038744, 7.62 mm Nato cal., 22
inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. One of a limited number of approximately 125 commercial
production registered full automatic M1A rifles. Fitted with a pair of National Match pattern sights, a long birdcage pattern flash
hider with bayonet lug on the unmarked barrel, and standard M1A model/address markings on the receiver heel. The M14 pattern
transfer bar and selector switch assembly is installed on the right side of the receiver, with proper cutouts for the former and
extended lug for the latter. The unmarked stock is shaped to accommodate the selector hardware, with a flip-up shoulder rear.
Includes a rear sight protector, a slip-over muzzle brake, a brown leather sling, and an unmarked Springfield box.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% plus original matte finish, showing some light handling marks on both metal and wood. The box shows wear and tear appropriate to age and travel. Mechanically excellent.
