CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with 85% plus original blue finish
overall with minor edge and high spot wear with some blue loss on
the rounded rear area of the receiver and lower back strap/frame area. Both areas are also showing some very light corrosion. The grips are excellent with nice original distinct checkering on the sides showing only a couple very minor handling marks with some minor flaking of the varnish on the right side along the lower back edge. The smaller parts retain 80% of their original niter blued colors. The four magazine are all excellent and so is the shoulder stock and cheek piece. The holster is in good condition with only a portion of the flaked black leather face still remaining overall. The case is in fair condition with the black exterior covering showing much wear and missing areas with a large crack through the center covering of the lid. The silver latches and hinges show some rusting, and it is missing the leather handle. It’s a really
nice looking complete and original Loewe Model 1893 Borchardt Semi- Automatic Pistol rig. These are truly desirable in that it is the beginning/ direct predecessor of the famous Luger pistol and that it is antique! Estimate: 25,000 - 37,500
