Special Order Winchester Model 1886 Extra Lightweight Takedown Lever Action .45-
70 Short Rifle - Serial no. 150609, 45-70 cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1911. Beaded blade Lyman front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight on a
barrel stamped with the two-line address/patent dates legend, two-line nickel steel marking and “45-70” on
the left side. A Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang has the three-line Model 1886/trade mark information. The full length magazine
is a rare feature on an extra lightweight rifle. The lower tang has the two-line patent
dates and the serial number. The left of the lower tang is marked “674”. Sling eyelets
are mounted on the underside of the forend cap and buttstock. The straight grip
stock is fitted with a checkered Winchester hard rubber shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance, some takedown
wear on the magazine and a small patch of cleaned pitting on the barrel. Buttplate has some chipping at the toe. The wood is fine with minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Very Fine Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle in .44 W.C.F. - Serial no. 993636, 44 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1930 with standard
 markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with
Lyman beaded blade front and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sights, and mounted with a smooth
forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the bright original blue finish with some speckling of brown patina on the bottom of the
receiver and some thinning to a smooth grey patina on the buttplate and forend cap. The wood is also very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

LOT 30
Excellent Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 327224, 32-40 WCF cal., 26
inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1905. The top barrel flat ahead of
the rear sight is marked with the two-line address/1894 patent date and “32-40” is at the breech. The top barrel flat and receiver are marked with the Winchester oval proof at the breech. The upper tang is marked with the three-line model/maker/trademark marking, and the serial number is on the front underside of the receiver. It features dovetailed German silver blade front and
adjustable buckhorn rear sights, a full length magazine tube and is mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% plus original blue finish showing some thinning to brown on bottom of magazine tube. The hammer, lever and buttplate retain 60% original case colors. There are
several minor scratches on the upper tang and frame. The wood is very fine with a number of minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
