U.S. Marine Corps M40A3 Commercial Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Documented U.S.M.C. Unertl Scope and Case - Serial no. G6925901, 308 cal., 25 inch heavy round bbl., parkerized finish, synthetic stock. Per the included weapon record book, this M40A3 was manufactured in 2017 by the Precision Weapons Section of Weapons Training Battalion in Quantico, Virgina. The receiver is marked with the serial number and standard Remington 700 model markings. The heavy barrel is marked “PWS-P” on the left side of the chamber. The rifles action is bedded into a McMillan A-4 stock with adjustable cheek riser, adjustable length of pull via a spacer system, Harris
bipod, and pre-2007 style hinged floorplate. The receiver is mounted with an Unertl 10x USMC Sniper scope. Included with the rifle is the aforementioned Weapon Record Book which is numbered to the gun with three entries: one proof firing and function test achieved with 21 rounds, a test firing achieved with 40 rounds, and one final round of sighting in the rifle with Federal 175 grain SMK achieved with 23 rounds. Also included is a Pelican 1750 case, 2002 dated U.S. Marine Corps Technical Manual, slope doper, scope tool, and CMP certificate for the scope. The M40A3 was designed by WTB at Quantico to replace the aging stock of M40A1 Rifles which had been built in the early 1970s and allow the rifle to fit into the needs of modern day combat. The M40 platform has the distinction of being used in every United States conflict from Vietnam through the Global War on Terror. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original parkerized finish with a few light handling marks and some slight discoloration on the cheek riser. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent retaining 95% of its camouflage finish with scattered handling marks, slightly hazy optics and a crisp reticle. Estimate: 12,000 - 18,000

AN/PAS-13B(V)1 Thermal Optic with Bag and Accessories - Manufactured by Raytheon, the AN/PAS-13B(V1) is the thermal optic used by the United States Armed Forces. The (V)1 model is the lightest of those adopted for use on infantry rifle platforms. The optic body features a contrast knob, brightness control, button for switching from white hot to black hot, reticle adjust on the bottom, reticle zoom button, and emergency button. Included with the optic is a nylon carry bag marked “3017”, possibly a rack number, a manual marked with the same number, (V) 2/3 reference booklet, and cleaning kit.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original black finish on the optic body with minimal handling marks. The optic functions properly. Bag is very fine with storage and handling marks.
