Belgian Browning 20 Gauge Diana Grade Superposed Shotgun - Serial
no. 5850V74, 20 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
1974. Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, standard
Browning markings, and chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full). The coin grey receiver is engraved in the Diana
Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding mallards in a marsh on the right, a covey of pheasant in a wooded
scene on the left, a pair of quail on the trigger plate, and a pair of hares on the trigger guard. The receiver is signed “L.LAMBERT” on left beneath the game scene. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bores 9 inches from the breech measured at .625/.622 inches; choke constriction .016/.027 inches; minimum wall thickness .040/.038 inches; 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 4 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue and coin finishes, scattered minor spotting toward the muzzle, and some discoloration and minor oxidation on the action. The wood is also very fine with scattered light dings and scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 7,000

Centennial Model Superposed Shotgun/Rifle Two Barrel Set with Box - Serial no. 1878C-
473, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued steel
barrels with ramped beaded blade front sight and folding rear sight, standard markings, and
ejectors. The coin finished boxlock action features a gold inlaid elk in a field scene on the left
and a gold quail in flight on the right all bordered and surrounded by floral scrollwork, a bust of
John Browning on the underside, single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch.
Highly figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend and straight grip stock with Browning
buttplate. Includes original box and matching numbered and engraved set of 26 1/2 inch vent
rib 20 gauge barrels with 3 inch chambers. Barrel measurements for 20 gauge set (U/O): bore diameter 9 inches from the breech
.622/.625 inches; choke constriction .012/.029 inches; minimum wall thickness .039/.035 inches. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 7 lbs. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, coin, and gold finishes, limited handling evidence, some oil staining on the receiver, and sharp checkering on the forend and stock. The box is very good with some storage wear. The shotgun barrel set is excellent. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000
