Ken Hurst Signed Master Engraved Colt Third Generation Single Action
Army Revolver - Serial no. SA43078, 357 magnum cal., 7 1/2
inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, smooth grips. Manufactured in 1981 and subsequently engraved by Master
Engraved Ken Hurst. The revolver features a band of dotted blocks
at the muzzle with a spray of floral scroll engraving coming off the band on
either side. The barrel also features a band of zig zag engraving at the frame with floral scroll sprays coming off toward the muzzle. The model and caliber
  markings are in a banner, and the barrel address is surrounded by intertwining lines. The frame features
floral scroll engraving, border lines, a sunburst on the recoil shield, braided lines on the top strap, and floral
scroll on the hammer. The cylinder features floral sprays between the cylinder flutes with a band at the rear and
outlines following the flutes and path of the cylinder stop. The trigger guard features a floral design in the shape of a
heart and floral leaves on the trigger bow. The back strap features a sunburst similar to that of the recoil shield and floral scroll engraving. The revolver is signed “K. Hurst” above the frame serial number and on the underside of the barrel.
CONDITION: Excellent as master engraved by Ken Hurst. Retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. A fantastic double signed K. Hurst work of art to add to your Single Action Army collection.

Factory Grade “D” Engraved Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Case and
Factory Letter - Serial no. 99193SA, 44 special cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut grips. The included factory letter is listed as having
a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .44 special with blue finish, stocks not listed,
and grade “D” engraving when shipped to Cherry’s Sporting Goods Company in Geneseo, IL on February 16, 1979 as part of Colt factory order number 10723. The near full coverage grade “D” engraving features broad floral scrollwork. The left side of the grip frame is marked “COLT ENG”. Includes a Colt presentation case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case
colors with minimal handling marks and crisp engraving. The grips are ill-fitting
replacements. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with scattered light storage and handling marks. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,000
