Fine U.S. Marked Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Musket with Bayonet - Serial no. 18830, 30-40 Krag cal., 28 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1898. The top of the receiver has the “U.S.” marking, and the left side of the hammer, the left side of the lever and the buttplate tang have the ordnance inspector’s initials “KSM.” The left side of the receiver has the three-line Winchester address/patent dates marking, and the upper tang has the two-line model marking. The musket is fitted with a pinned blade front sight, a folding ladder rear sight graduated from 8 to 18 and a bayonet lug on the underside of the front barrel band. “GDM” (George D. Moller) collection initials are discreetly marked at the toe of the stock. The buttstock is fitted with a trapdoor buttplate. Includes a leather sling and a Winchester manufactured and marked bayonet with scabbard and leather frog. Initially 10,000 muskets were ordered under U.S. government contract. After issues with the first 100 rifles delivered, the balance of the contract
was sold to a dealer in New York, who in turn, sold most to Cuba. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 60% original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. The wood is very good with some chipping along the grain near the stock toe and minor dings and scratches. The bayonet is fine with the sharpened blade having a mottled gray patina with pitting, and the sheath is very fine with 90% of the original blue remaining on the hardware and overall tight stitching on the leather. Exceptional Pre-World War II Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 883774, 30 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock.
Manufactured in 1919. Standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proofs, pinned blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, saddle ring on the left side of the receiver, and mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 99% plus of the original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks and some patches of dried storage grease residue, mainly in the protected areas of the frame and lever. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and some dried storage grease. Mechanically excellent.

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 986985, 44 WCF cal., 20 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
1929 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the shortened 20 inch barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with beaded blade front and elevation buckhorn rear sights. Mounted with an 8 3/8 inch, rifle length, smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish on the receiver with some patches of grey patina, primarily on the bottom, having thinned to a smooth brown patina. The shortened barrel retains 95% original blue. The wood is excellent with a few scattered minor scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
