Factory Game Scene Engraved Furtschegger- Kufstien Over/ Under Double Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 482, 22-243 cal., 23 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/bright finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler Rasant steel barrels with blade front sight on a raised section of rib, fixed rear sight and German claw scope mounts on the rear quarter rib which is marked “FURTSCHEGGER - KUFSTEIN”, light engraving at the breech, and single extractor. The calibers are marked on the underside as “22 H” and “243 WIN”. The action and locks display beautiful, deep
oak leaf engraving surrounding a mountain scene with a ram on the left and an a chamois in the sub-alpine on the right. The rifle features rebounding hammers, double triggers, and a carved horn trigger guard. Beautifully figured, fancy checkered three piece forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release and straight grip stock with cheekpiece, engraved trapdoor toe compartment, and Pachmayr recoil pad. Includes a K. Kahles Helia-Super 2.3-7x scope. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches. Weight is 8 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish, bright action, minor handling evidence, some wear to the otherwise sharp checkering. The scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.

Heym Game Scene Engraved Kurt Langenhan Over/Under Combination Gun with Scope -
Serial no. 944, 12/7x65R gauge, 27 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with blade front and two leaf (one standing one folding) rear sight on the matted solid rib along with the scope mounts, “KURT LANGENHAN” marked on the right of the upper barrel at the breech, 2 3/4 inch shotgun chamber, and automatic ejectors. The bright action features oak leaf style engraving surround a game scene on either side. The left shows a stag
and a pair of hinds in a forest scene and the right depicts a pair of dogs pursuing two wild boars and downing one of them. The engraving is signed “HEYM” on the bottom of the left sideplate. Double triggers with the front being a set trigger. Nicely figured, oak leaf carved and checkered three piece forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley style release and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. With Tasco 3-9x56E scope. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. The gun weighs 10 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with much of the loss on the under rib, the action is mostly bright, with light handling evidence, and scattered light spotting. The wood
is also very fine, with some varnish wear, a few light dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Scope optics are clear. Safety stuck off, otherwise mechanically excellent.
 Game Scene Engraved German Over/Under Combination Gun with Schmidt & Bender Scope - Serial no. 349z, 16/6.3 mm gauge, 26 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1929. Blued Krupp-Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip up rear sights as well as German style claw mounts on the matted solid rib, standard German proofs, 70 3/4 inch) chamber with extractor, and .030 inch choke constriction. The casehardened scalloped boxlock action displays near full coverage floral scroll engraving surrounding a roebuck and doe on the left along with a mallard in a forest scene and a stag and two hinds on the right. The gun features double triggers, a horn trigger guard, and a tang mounted safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved

fittings including the Deeley latch style release and pistol grip stock with engraved cartridge trapdoor showing a pair of woodcocks and horn grip cap and buttplate. Includes a Schmidt & Bender 4x36mm scope and leather sling. Stock measurements: 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish, the case colors show an attractive silvered patina with some color still present in the protected areas, and light handling evidence. The wood is very good with numerous dings and scratches, small crack in the trigger guard, some insect damage to the horn, and well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000

Factory Game Scene Engraved J. P. Sauer & Sohn Boxlock Drilling with Case - Serial no. 342752, 16/8x57 cal., 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp-Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and automatic flip up rear sights on the matted, solid rib which is marked with the caliber, standard barrel markings and German proofs, and 65 mm ( 2 1/2 inch) chambers with single extractor. The scalloped, sideclipped boxlock action displays beautiful game scenes surrounded by floral scroll. The left has a pair of dogs flushing mallards, the underside shows a stag, and the right has a pair of roe deer and three partridges. The engraving was carried out when the gun was completed in 1944 by Master Engraver Fritz Berkes per included correspondence between the consignor and Dietrich Apel (founder of the German Gun Collectors Association). Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with Deeley latch and pistol grip stock. Includes a leather bound
mutton leg case. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lb. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some scratches and spotting toward the muzzles, 98% original case colors, and light handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few light marks and crisp checkering. The case is very good with detached handle (included). Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
