Factory Engraved Winchester Parker Reproduction DHE Grade 28 Gauge Double Barrel
Shotgun Two Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 28-04053, 28 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured between 1983 and 1989 as a faithful reproduction
of the beloved Parker shotgun. Single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib,
“1” marked on the lump, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and chokes marked
“MOD”/”FULL”. The casehardened receiver shows the standard DHE grade
engraving of hunting dogs on either side and a covey of pheasants on the
underside along with “PARKER”. Single selective trigger and automatic tang
safety. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forearm with Deeley style latch and engraved fittings and straight grip stock blank inscription oval and engraved skeletonized buttplate around checkered bare butt. Includes a second set of matching serial numbered 26 inch 28 gauge barrels with a “2” on the lump, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and chokes marked “Q1”/”Q2”. Also included are two original boxes, shipping box for the both boxes and case,
leather bound takedown case that houses the whole set, canvas cover, and two nickel snap caps. Barrel measurements for set “2” (R/L): bore diameters measured 9 inches from the breech .556/.554 inches; choke constriction .003/.008 inches; minimum wall thickness .025/.025 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for set “1” (R/L): bore diameters measured 9 inches from the breech .554/.553 inches; choke constriction .016/.035 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs 11 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent as well with limited storage and handling marks.

Winchester Parker Reproduction DHE Grade 20/16 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun Three Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. P-00437, 20 gauge, 28 inch solid
rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured as a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker shotgun. Single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib, small “1” on the lump, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, and chokes marked “MOD”/”FULL”. The casehardened receiver shows the standard DHE grade engraving of hunting dogs on either side and a covey of pheasants on the underside along with “PARKER”. Single selective trigger and automatic tang
mounted safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forearm with engraved
fittings including the Deeley latch release and straight pistol grip stock with teardrop flats, blank inscription
oval, and engraved skeletonized buttplate around checkered bare butt. Includes a second matching numbered set 26 inch 20 gauge barrels with “2” on the
lump and a rare set of original 28 inch 16 gauge barrels manufactured by Krieghoff with matching serial number. According to page 179 of “The Parker Story” by
Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, only some 150 of these 16 gauge barrel sets were made by Krieghoff starting in 1994. Another interesting feature of this
gun is that it has a “P” serial number prefix, indicating that it was made as a prototype to be distributed amongst those with close ties to the man who made the
reproduction happen, Tom Skeuse. Also included with the gun is an original leather bound takedown case with canvas cover that houses the gun, two snap caps,
and just one of the two extra barrel sets. Barrel measurements for the 16 gauge set (R/L): bore diameters measured nine inches from the breech both proved at
16.8 mm (.661 inches) and measured .663/.663 inches; choke constriction .009/.018 inches; minimum wall thickness .038/.039 inches. Barrel measurements for the
20 gauge set “2” (R/L): bore diameters measured nine inches from the breech .619/.619 inches; choke constriction .011/.019 inches; minimum wall thickness .034/.032
inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the 20 gauge set “1” (R/L): bore diameters measured nine inches from the breech .619/.618 inches; choke constriction .019/.038 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.027 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 9 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish, 80% case colors with the balance an attractive silver, and minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with some dings on the underside of the stock, scattered minor scratches, and sharp checkering. The case is very fine and the extra barrel sets are excellent. Mechanically excellent.
