Factory Engraved L. C. Smith/Hunter Arms Co. Crown Grade Single Barrel Trap Shotgun - Serial no. S14563C, 12 gauge, 34 inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. According to the chart on page 120 of “L. C. Smith Shotguns” by William Brophy, this is one of only 88 Crown Grade Single Barrel Trap shotguns ever produced. Dual white bead sights on the raised, matted vent rib, standard Crown Grade markings on the barrel, 1 1/2 inch wedges of floral scroll on both sides of the barrel, single band of engraving at the muzzle, and 2 3/4 inch
chamber with automatic ejector. The casehardened boxlock action displays extensive floral scroll engraving surrounding a
pair of setters on the left and a pair of pointers on the right in oval scenes. The toplever is inlaid with a gold crown along with more scrollwork. Highly figured, fancy relief carved fleur-de-lis checkered trap forend with engraved fittings including the rotary latch release and pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis carved flats, engraved grip cap, and ventilated recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter measured nine inches from the breech .731 inches; choke constriction .030 inches; minimum wall thickness .036 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 7/8 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 97% original blue on the barrel and 75% on the trigger guard, 80% muted case colors on the action, light handling evidence, replacement grip cap, and sharp checkering on the wood. LOT 1518 Factory Engraved Ithaca Grade 4E Single Barrel Trap Shotgun - Serial no. 260377T, 12 gauge, 32 inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1915. Dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, light engraving on the sides of the chamber, choke constriction of .031 inches, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejector. The casehardened boxlock action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding a pointer in a field on the left, a mallard in flight on the underside, a setter in a field on the right, and a woodcock on the trigger guard. Highly figured, fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and push button release and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, “W.S.S.” marked inscription shield, and added red rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 15 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue, 50% original case colors with the balance a mix of brown and grey patina, scattered light spotting, and mild handling
evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few light marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

LOT 1519 Factory Engraved Ithaca Grade 4E Single Barrel Trap Shotgun - Serial no. 262585-T, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1915. Dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, light engraving on the sides of the chamber, choke constriction of .029 inches, and 3 inch chamber with automatic ejector. The casehardened boxlock action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding a version of the Seal of the United States on the left and solitary pheasant in a field on the right. Nicely figured, fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and push button release and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and Jostam red rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 11 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% original blue finish on the barrel, 50% original case colors with the balance a mix of silver and brown patina, and light handling evidence. The revarnished wood is also very fine with a few light marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Factory Engraved Parker Brothers Grade SCE Single Barrel Trap Shotgun - Serial no. 223124, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1927 as one of only 151 completed in this configuration per page 406 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Price, Parker, and Cote. Blued Acme Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted, vent rib, standard
Parker barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber with automatic ejector, and added Briley choke tube system
(full installed). The casehardened boxlock action features near full coverage floral scroll engraving with a solitary pigeon on the underside. Beautifully figured, fancy multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch style release and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and added red rubber recoil pad. Includes two extra choke tubes (full and extra full) in a case. Stock measurements: 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 12 oz. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally refurbished, retaining 99% blue, 85% case colors, and minor handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with scattered minor marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
