   LOT 1624 Rare U.S. International Harvester “Gap Letter” M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 4641712, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Standard sights, “LMR 5 53” barrel, “IHC” bolt and operating rod, “W.R.A.” safety, trigger housing and hammer, and replacement early production “C 46025” milled trigger guard. A Federal Ordnance import mark has been added to the barrel on the right side just below the handguard, and the receiver heel shows the distinctly spaced “gap letter” style manufacturer’s markings. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a faint “RA-P” stamp on the grip and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, with 50% of the parkerized finish, showing areas of thinning, edge wear and scattered handling marks. Patches of shallow pitting are present, concentrated on the receiver. The sanded refinished stock is very good, with some light dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000

CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing some rubbing on the barrel ahead of the magazine, a mixed brown and gray patina on the magazine tube, bright edge wear and light handling marks. The checkering appears to have been recut, with some minor chips, dings and scuffs overall. Mechanically excellent.

Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 265558, 30 M1 Carbine
cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock.
“RIA” blade front and “S” two-leaf rear sights, with a “4-43”
dated Inland barrel and an unmarked Type II barrel band. Blued “*U*” flat top
bolt, milled “N/16” trigger housing, unmarked button safety, “W” magazine catch, “IN” hammer and a “DA-Q” operating rod.
The main stock body is of the two -rivet, low wood configuration, with a “RMC” handguard, “crossed cannons” on the right side of the grip, “R.I./3” on the bottom, leather cheekpad with steel rivets, tan canvas sling, and swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. CONDITION: Fine as assembled to current configuration, with 80% of the arsenal parkerized finish, showing some bright rubbing on the barrel, mild edge wear and light handling marks. A few dings and dents are present on the rear sight. A small crack is forming on the interior of the upper handguard; otherwise, the stock is in very good condition, with some cracking of the leather and mild scuffs and dings overall. Scarce World War II U.S. Marked Stevens Model 620A Slide Action
Riot Shotgun - Serial no. 15846, 12 gauge, 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. A
refinement of the Model 620, the Model 620A was acquired in lower quantities by the U.S.
government compared to the Model 620 and 520-30 shotguns. The matching numbered barrel is fitted with a single
bead sight and a 2 3/4 inch chamber, with a series of “*” stamps, a partial “flaming bomb” and a “P” added at the breech,
along with the standard address and model markings. The receiver is struck “P/flaming bomb” and “U.S.” on the left side. Sharply
