Desirable Excellent World War II Mauser 1939 Date 42 Code Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol Rig with Two Matching Magazines and Matching Number Holster - Serial no. 4251x, 9 mm
cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked “42” on the top of the toggle. Two “eagle/655” proofs and the spread winged eagle firing proof appear on the right side of the chamber, with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side
of the breechblock. A smaller “eagle/655” is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked “GESICHERT” and “GELADEN” respectively. Finish
is full blue, and aside from the unnumbered grips the pistol is matching overall in military pattern, including both of the blued body/alloy base magazines (one
properly “+” marked to designate the spare). The included black leather C. Weiss holster is marked “WaA750” and “1939” on the back above a hand-scribed “SLEAD”, stamped “4251” on the front body and under the flap, and an “eagle/655” proofed takedown tool inside the pouch.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some minor spotting and handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with a few light dings on the otherwise crisp checkering. The holster is very fine, with minor scuffing and wear. Mechanically excellent.

World War II Mauser “41/byf ” P.08 Black Widow Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol Rig - Serial no. 2478x, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Blade front and notch rear sights, the “41” date on the chamber and “byf ”
factory code on the front toggle link. “Eagle” firing proofs are present on the barrel, breech block and extension, and the barrel and extension are also stamped with “eagle/655” proofs.
Full blue finish, with checkered “black widow” style grips and military pattern serialization (grips and mags unmarked, rest matching). Two blued “fxo” magazines with black plastic bases
are included, as is a “dtu.41” marked black leather holster and an “Eagle/655” marked takedown tool. The interior of the holster flap is pencil marked with what appears to be a
service or social security number.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing
bright edge wear, scattered light pitting on the left side of the frame and grip straps, and light handling marks overall. The grips are very good, with minor chipping along the lower edge and some mild dings. The holster is fair, with the end of the lifter strap absent and cracking overall. Mechanically excellent.
