Super Six Limited Golden Bison Single Action .45- 70 Revolver with Case - Serial no. KBB10, 45-70 Government cal., 8 inch octagon bbl., blue/ bright finish, walnut grips. This extremely large revolver features an octagon barrel with a ramp front and frame mounted adjustable rear sights. The very heavy brass frame has a safety button just above the square- back trigger guard. The right side of the frame is marked “45/70” below the cylinder with “SUPER SIX LIMITED/ Brookfield, Wis, U.S.A.” on the left side and “GOLDEN BISON” on the right side of the topstrap. Fitted with two piece smooth wooden grips with a bull buffalo head in an arrow head motif at the top of each. Complete with a wood display case with three .45-70 dummy rounds, a matching bronze bull grip motif on the lid, and a red velvet interior. The wood case is nested inside another wood case with a white fur lining. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining nearly 97% original blue finish with scattered handling marks, some gray on the barrel at breach, and a faint cylinder drag line. The brass surfaces have an attractive appearance with dark speckling mostly on the right side of the frame and hammer. The grips are excellent with very limited handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. Golden Buffalo case is excellent with minimal storage and handling marks. Provenance: The Buckstix Collection. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Engraved Turnbull Manufacturing Co. Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. SP0035, 44 special cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut grips. Standard markings and features as well as 25% coverage floral scroll and geometric engraving on a punchdot background. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with very minimal handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Rare Early Production Century Manufacturing. Inc. Model 100 .45-70 Single Action Revolver with Case and Factory Letter - Serial no. 077, 45/70 Govt. cal., 8 inch round bbl., blue/bright finish, walnut grips. These
enormous and powerful revolvers were manufactured in Evansville, Indiana, in the 1970s and 1980s by Century Arms and then Century Manufacturing. It has a dovetailed blade front sight on a ramped base, adjustable rear sight, “45-70” cut through the blue on the left side of the barrel, “Century Mfg, Inc./-EVANSVILLE,IND-” on the left side of the frame, the serial number on the bottom of the frame, “Model 100” on the right side of the frame, and a safety on the left above the trigger. Includes a wood case and three dummy rounds of .45-70 ammunition. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration when shipped to M&M Sporting Goods in Milwaukee, WI. on September 11, 1981 as well as remarking that it was shipped in a consecutive pair. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% plus blue finish with a light cylinder drag line. The frame and grip straps are taking on an age darkened appearance. Grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with storage and handling marks. Provenance: The Buckstix Collection. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000

Action Revolver - Serial no. 1012, 45/70 cal., 6 1/2 inch round
bbl., blue/bright finish, walnut grips. These enormous and
powerful revolvers were manufactured in Greenfield, Indiana, in
the 1970s and 1980s by Century Arms and then Century Manufacturing.
It has a dovetailed blade front sight on a ramped base, adjustable rear sight,
“45-70” cut through the blue on the left side of the barrel, “Century Mfg, Inc./-
GREENFIELD,IND-” on the left side of the frame, the serial number on the bottom
of the frame, “Model 100” on the right side of the frame, a safety on the left above the trigger, and smooth grips.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus blue finish with limited handling marks and a light cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent.
