Desirable Early Production Antique Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle with Four Digit Serial Number - Serial no. 9184, 38 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1892. The rifle is fitted with a combination Beach front sight, an elevation adjustable rear sight and a tall staff tang mounted peep sight graduated from 0-50 on the left side. The top of the barrel is stamped with the two-line address ahead of the rear sight and “38 WCF” at the breech. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock fitted with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 40% original blue finish with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance. Some patterns of original case colors remain on the hammer and lever, and traces of original niter blue remain on the loading gate. The re-oiled wood is also fine showing some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500
LOT 1050 Special Order Winchester Model 1886 Extra Lightweight Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 126482, 45-70 cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1901. Lyman hunting front sight with sporting folding ladder rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. PAT. OCT. 14. 1884. JAN. 20. 1885”, caliber marking at the breech. The lower tang is marked “PAT. OCT. 14, 1884/JAN. 20, 1885”. The top of the tang is fixed with a Lyman adjustable rear sight. 3/4 length tubular magazine, casehardened lever and hammer, smooth forearm with iron forend tip, and straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber shotgun style buttplate marked “ WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO” in a circle. CONDITION: Very good with 40% plus of the thinning original blue finish remains on the barrel with minor spotting and a few handling marks. The receiver retains traces of original blue finish mostly in sheltered areas the balance is now a mottled dark gray patina exhibiting only minor surface scratches. The hammer and lever show faint but distinct traces of original case colors. The wood is good as revarnished with scattered pressure marks and scratches. The left forearm has the name “SAM” hand etched on the side. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
LOT 1051 Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 774288, 38 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Manufactured in 1914 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, as well as a saddle ring on the left of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 50% plus of the original blue finish overall, primarily on the barrel and magazine, and faint case color patterns with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is also fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 1052 Very Fine Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 269143, 32 W.S. cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1905 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with a German silver blade front sight and correct elevation adjustable .32 M94 W.S. Smokeless marked rear sight. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish and faint age darkened case colors, the balance thinning to a smooth grey patina and a small patch of light pitting on the right. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout and a hairline crack on the right of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 1053 Attractive Winchester Model 1887 Lever Action Shotgun with Damascus Barrel - Serial no. 52229, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1893. Single bead sight on the Damascus barrel with a 2 5/8 inch chamber and choke measuring approximately modified. Standard “WRACO” monogram on the left side of the casehardened receiver. Finely figured smooth two-piece slab forend and pistol grip stock with checkered iron buttplate and 12 3/4 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Very good, retains patterns of original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of very light surface pitting. The barrel retains 50% of the original Damascus twist brown finish. The finely figured wood is also very good with a couple small hairline cracks, a few scattered minor chips, and otherwise some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle -
Serial no. 399565B, 38 WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1891 as a Third Model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with serrations at the rear. Two-line address/King’s patent marking and “38 W.C.F.” on the top barrel flat, model designation on the upper tang, serial number on the lower tang, and “38 CAL.” faintly on the bottom of the cartridge elevator. Fitted with German silver blade front and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sights. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a trapdoor crescent buttplate (cleaning rod not included). CONDITION: Very good, retains 20% of the original blue finish, primarily in sheltered areas, with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and a few scattered patches of light pitting. The wood is good with numerous scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,500 - 2,250
