Desirable Special Order Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle with Pistol Grip Stock - Serial no. 148648, 22 long cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1902. Beaded blade Lyman front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight (marked with the 1901 patent marking) and marble tang peep sight. The top barrel flat has the two-line address/patent dates marking ahead of
the rear sight with “22 LONG” marked at the breech. The lower tang is marked with the serial number. Grooved rounded forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with crescent buttplate and hard rubber Winchester grip cap.
CONDITION: Fine. The rifle retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is also fine with a number of minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,000
LOT 1062 Desirable Pre-War Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Octagon Barrel Rifle in Very Scarce .22 WRF - Serial no. 38932, 22 WRF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1938. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, first style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, smooth round top receiver, smooth trigger, and serrated hammer catch. 17 Groove slide handle and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with cycling wear, scattered handling marks and a ding visible on the top of the receiver. Stock and forearm are both very fine as re-oiled with dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500
LOT 1063 Rare and Very Fine Winchester Deluxe Model 90 Slide Action Rifle in Desirable .22 LR - Serial no. 799310, 22 LR cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Lyman beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, tenth style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver
at the breech, Third Model receiver with exposed locking lugs, standard three-line marking on the upper tang, and matching serial numbers on the receiver and lower tang. 12 groove slide handle and attractively figured checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber grip cap, and blue steel
crescent buttplate. The left side of the lower tang and inside of the buttplate are stamped with matching assembly number “8”. The end of the buttstock is unmarked. CONDITION: Very fine with 95% plus original blue finish, well defined markings, some brown patina on the muzzle, small patches of mild flaking and a long scratch above takedown knob on the receiver, and some scattered surface scratches and handling marks. The wood is also very fine with sharp checkering, scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent.
    CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% original blue finish with scattered handling marks and slide retraction marks. Stock and forearm are both fine with scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750
marked “Germany”. A lug has been added to the underside to secure the forearm. The receiver is engraved with fine scroll patterns.
Mounted with a multi-point walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a cheek piece, White Line vented recoil pad and sling swivel.
Consignor notes state that this rifle once belonged to G. Edward Lewis. Writer located a number of G. Edward Lewis’ on the internet. CONDITION: Very fine as custom embellished with 90% dark rust blue finish remaining, showing some thinning and small areas of smooth gray patina on the barrel. There is a repaired crack on the top of the stock
at the upper tang, and overall there are a few minor dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp. The engraving is clear and crisp. The action is fine. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

round top receiver, flip up peep sight on the factory drilled and tapped upper tang, smooth trigger, and serrated hammer catch. 17 Groove slide handle and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate.
 LOT 1065 Engraved Savage Model 1899 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 207706, 250- 3000 SAV cal., 19 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured circa 1895 to 1899. According to consignor notes, this rifle has been modified with a 19 inch solid rib German made barrel rechambered by Ackley in Savage .250-3000 and with a replacement forearm and stock. The barrel features a raised ramp beaded blade front sight and three folding leaf rear sight on the matte solid rib.
