        LOT 3325 Silver Accented Thomas Medbury Signed Flintlock American Long Rifle - NSN,
cal., 48 1/8 inch octagon bbl., blue/brown finish, maple stock. Thomas Medbury of New Berlin and
Erieville in New York in the early 19th century. This rifle has blade and notch sights, “T Medbury” signed on top
of the breech section, single trigger, brass barrel keys and furniture, engraved patch box with pieced side plates, long decorative toe plate, silver wrist escutcheon, silver eagle on the cheek piece, relief carving on the maple stock at the ramrod
entry pipe, top of the wrist, along the bottom of the buttstock, and left side of the butt. CONDITION: Good as reconverted to flintlock configuration with restored dark brown patina and applied finish on the barrel and the
reworked replacement lock, dark aged patina on the silver, mix of bright and aged brass furniture, refinished and repaired stock with repairs mainly above the nose of the lock and top of the wrist, chips around the lock, and general moderate overall wear. Mechanically fine.

 LOT 3326 Engraved H. Lechler Signed Percussion American Long Rifle with German Silver Accents - NSN, 44 cal., 38 3/4 inch
octagon bbl., brown finish, maple stock. Henry Lechler Sr. of Lancaster and Carlisle, Pennsylvania, was active from the late 18th century to the mid 19th century. This rifle has circle designs around the muzzle, blade and notch sights, “H. LECHLER” marked on the top of the barrel and face of the lock, light scroll engraving on the lock, scroll engraved brass patch box, brass trigger guard and buttplate, German silver remaining furniture, a series of German silver accents along the forend in double heart and fish designs, a large heart shaped wrist escutcheon, checkered wrist, patriotic eagle and flag cheek rest inlay, and double set triggers. CONDITION: Very good with dark brown patina on the lock and barrel along with mild
      oxidation and pitting, dark aged patina on the brass furniture, mostly bright nickel-silver, and general mild overall wear. Aside from the repaired break in the wrist, the refinished
stock is also very good and has mostly crisp checkering, general mild scratches and dings, strong artificial striped “figure,” and attractive reddish tones. Mechanically fine. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
 LOT 3327 Percussion American Long Rifle - NSN, 36 cal., 36 3/8 inch octagon bbl., brown finish, maple stock.
Features blade and notch sights, adjustable double set triggers, brass furniture including an engraved patchbox, and converted lock with partial “WARRANTED” mark visible (“TED”). CONDITION: Good with dark brown patina on the barrel and lock, mild oxidation and pitting mainly on the latter, aged
patina on the brass furniture, added tacks and star, and some cracks and repairs in the stock including a restored forend.
 Mechanically fine.
