     LOT 3351 Very Scarce Remington No. 7 Rolling Block Rifle - Serial no. 300263, 25-10 RF cal., 24 inch part octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Norm Flayderman estimated less than 500 of these No. 7 rifles were manufactured c. 1903-1906. They are built on the Model 1871 pistol actions. This example featured a blade and globe combination front sight, Lyman peep sight, standard markings, a checkered Schnabel tip forearm with contrasting tip insert, and a checkered pistol grip buttstock with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate.
 CONDITION: Fine with 50% of an faded, thin original finish exhibiting plum brown tones, 40% original case colors, gray and brown patina on the balance, and general mild wear. The wood is also fine and has mild wear on the otherwise crisp checkering on the fine wood with some light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

  LOT 3352 Fine Remington No. 1 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle - Serial no. 91748, 44 RF cal., 30 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, highly figured walnut stock. German silver front sight with combination notch and ladder peep rear sights on the blued barrel. Casehardened round-top action. Nicely figured forend and straight grip stock with casehardened tip and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine overall, retaining 70% faded original blue with wear on the high edges, attractive silver patina to the case colors, scattered light oxidation, some edge wear on the wood, and a few dings. Remington No. 1 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle - Serial no. 91266, 44 RF cal., 28 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. German silver front sight with combination notch and ladder peep rear sights on the blued barrel. The casehardened action features a single set trigger. Lightly figured forend and stock with casehardened tip and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with the wear along the high edges, 70% muted case colors with the balance a mix of brown and silver patina, scattered light oxidation, and mild handling evidence. LOT 3354 Special Order Remington Deluxe No. 1 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle - Serial no. 990, 44 RF cal., 32 inch octagon bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, highly figured checkered walnut stock. Manufactured c. 1868-1888. Features a combination bead and globe front sight, notch and sliding peep rear sight, extra dovetail with filler block, adjustable single set trigger, checkered stock and forearm with crescent buttplate, “44 CTGE” on the bottom of the barrel, the two line-address and patent marking on the upper tang ending with the 1866 patent, and matching serial numbers on the barrel, forearm, and lower tang. CONDITION: Very good with strong original blue on the hammer and breech block, thing original blue finish on the barrel mostly faded to a mottle gray and brown patina, matching patina on the action and buttplate, some minor oxidation, and general mild overall wear. The wood is fine and has crisp checkering, attractive figure on the butt, a chip at the lower right corner of the wrist, and generally light wear. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J.
