LOT 3442 Scarce Winchester Model 1904 Single Shot Bolt Action “Boy’s” Rifle - NSN, 22 SL EL cal., 21 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard markings, and Winchester “WP” proofs on the bolt and receiver. Plain straight grip Schnabel tip stock with serpentine trigger guard/grip and blued crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with slight wear at the muzzle and trigger guard, and minor handling evidence on the balance. The stock is excellent with scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard markings including rare “SMOOTH BORE” marking ahead of the rear sight, and Winchester “WP” proofs on the bolt and receiver. Plain pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some dried grease on the bolt and minor handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. B) Winchester Model 67 Junior Rifle - NSN, 22 S L LR cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard markings, and Winchester “WP” proofs on the bolt and receiver. Plain pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original blue finish, nearly all of the nickel on the bolt, and light handling evidence on the metal and reoiled wood. Mechanically excellent. Collector’s Lot of Two Winchester Bolt Action Single Shot Shotguns -A) Winchester Model 41 Shotgun - NSN, 410 gauge, 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Bead and notch sights on the barrel that displays standard markings and “WP” proofs behind the rear sight and on the bolt. Plain pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. The chamber measured 2 1/2 inches and the choke is marked full. 13 1/2 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with light handling evidence. The wood is very good with numerous scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. B) Scarce Winchester Model 36 Bolt Action Shotgun - NSN, 9 mm RF gauge, 17 3/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Introduced in 1920 and discontinued in 1927 after only approximately 20,000 sold. Standard markings with single bead sight, smooth straight grip gumwood stock with metal pistol grip trigger guard and checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Referred to by Winchester as the “Garden Gun” for its use against pests around the house and barn. CONDITION: Very fine. The shotgun retains 70% original blue finish on the barrel with areas thinning to a smooth brown. The trigger guard has a brown patina with minor spotting. The stock is also very fine with a few minor scratches and dings in the toe area and overall there are a few minor dings. Mechanically fine. The markings are sharp. Provenance: The Milan J. Bead and notch sights on the barrel that displays standard markings and “WP” proofs behind the rear sight and on the bolt. Plain pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. The chamber measured 2 1/2 inches and the choke is marked full. 13 1/2 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 80% original blue finish, light handling evidence, and scattered minor spotting. The wood is very good with some dings and scratches and wear at the butt. Mechanically excellent. B) Winchester Model 75 Deluxe Sporter Rifle - Serial no. 85497, 22 LR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1956. Hooded ramped blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard markings, and “WP” proof on the barrel and receiver. The lightly figured pistol grip stock features deluxe checkering at the wrist and forend and sling swivels. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with minor handling evidence.
