Big Bore Flintlock Jaeger Rifle with Relief Carved Stock - NSN, 72 cal., 29 3/4 inch octagon bbl., brown finish, walnut stock. 18th century Germanic style jaeger rifle of unknown origin with blade and notch sights on the swamped barrel, scroll engraving on the lock, iron furniture, scroll relief carving at the cheek rest, pick staples below the cheek rest, wooden patch box lid, and bone forend cap. CONDITION: Good as reconverted to flintlock configuration with a blend of applied brown finish and dark brown patina, mild pitting, light engraving, and general moderate overall wear. The replacement forend cap is secured by two screws that pass through the barrel walls. The refinished stock is also good and has a repairs, some chips and cracks, and small scrapes and dings. Engraved and Relief Carved Fisher English
Flintlock Coach Gun/Blunderbuss - NSN, 28 gauge, 16 1/4 inch round bbl., bright finish, walnut stock. The brass barrel is marked with London proofs and an “CBF” maker’s mark at the breech. The bore is estimated and flares out to just over an inch at the muzzle. The lock is
locks, attractive aged patina on the silver, around 50% of the refinished fire blue on the remaining furniture, and mild overall wear.
The stock is fine and has crisp relief carving, light scratches and dings, and a glossy coat of refreshed finish. Mechanically fine.

LOT 3553 Ornate Engraved and Inlaid Flintlock Fowling Piece/Musket - NSN, 13 gauge, 45 3/4 inch part octagon bbl., unknown finish, maple stock. The consignor indicated this long smoothbore gun was purchased from Kay Luft in New Canaan, CT, and at the time had the tag that is on the buttstock listing it as an 18th century American fowler with Spanish and French hardware. The barrel has a blade front sight, engraved scroll patterns with inlaid brass accents on the breech section, and an unidentified maker’s mark with a “B”
on the left. The lock appears to be from a 19th century Ottoman trade firearm. The furniture is brass and would be appropriate for an American gun or import from England.
CONDITION: Fair with dark patina, moderate oxidation and pitting, replacement lock with mixed components, moderate dents on the buttplate, and loose fitting barrel. The stock is also fair and has cracks, chips, and repairs. The bore is obstructed down towards the breech end.
Mechanically needs work.

furniture is engraved, including an acorn
trigger plate finial. The stock has raised shell carving around the barrel tang, serrated grasping grooves in the wrist, and a brass wire inlaid monogram on the wrist that appears to be the
initials “JS.” This gun was likely used to defend a coach/carriage. CONDITION: Very good with aged patina on the brass barrel and furniture, gray and brown patina
on the lock along with mild pitting and a crack at the front lock screw, and mild overall wear. The refinished stock is also very good and has crisp carving, repairs in the forend, some small chips at the
 LOT 3552 Relief Carved and Silver Accented French Double Barrel Flintlock Fowling Piece - NSN,
28 gauge, 39 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., brown/bright/blue finish, walnut stock. A classic 19th century
French double with the only visible markings being “A PARIS” on the lock plates below the frizzen springs, a blade front sight, large dished rear sight on the standing breech, silver wrist escutcheon, iron other furniture, and raised relief floral carved stock. By withdrawing the “tube” from the ramrod entry pipe, you can remove the barrels The undersides have “BARCELONNA” and “TORDU” markings along with a French proof. CONDITION: Fine with 85% plus period refinished brown and light twist patterns along the barrels, mostly silver gray patina on the
