Pre-World War II Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun with Solid Rib Barrel - Serial no. 39410, 410 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1938. Single steel bead sight on the factory matted solid rib, standard markings, 3 inch chamber, and choke marked modified. Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver. Plain 18-groove forend and pistol grip stock
with Winchester hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original blue, slide retraction wear, cleaned off “pepper” pitting visible on the triggerguard, minor handling evidence, and a few light scratches. Excellent Marlin Model 17-S Riot Shotgun - Serial no. A3810, 12 gauge, 20 inch round bbl., blue finish. The shotgun has a 20-inch, 12 gauge, barrel. The finish is dull blue with a seriated rib on the receiver. The straight grip walnut stock and forearm have a varnished finish and the buttplate is hard rubber and marked “MARLIN” below the lower butt plate screw. The upper receiver tang is marked in script: “MARLIN MODEL No 17-S”. CONDITION: Excellent. The barrel and receiver have 97% plus original blue finish, with light scratches. The stock and forearm are also
excellent with most of the original varnish with scattered scratches, dings, and light handling wear. Mechanically excellent.

     LOT 3559 Marlin Model 24 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 110484, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Full choke barrel with a single front bead, two line Marlin marked and numbered to the action. High polished blue action with matted rib top. Casehardened hammer, pistol grip stock with a hard rubber buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine overall with 85% plus blue with some minor light handling marks. 85% original casecolors on the hammer. The stock and forearm
are good with light handling marks, tight action. Buttplate broken in many places and repaired. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 950 - 1,400
  LOT 3560 Marlin Model 19 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 81558, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrel with single steel bead sight, serial number “84886F” on barrel, and choke measured full. Blued action with casehardened hammer. Lightly figured 17-groove forend and semi-pistol grip stock with hard rubber Marlin buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 13 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 3 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% original blue finish, some muted colors on the hammer, and light handling evidence. There is a crack at the left rear of the forend, otherwise the wood is very good with a few light scratches. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 800 - 1,200
     LOT 3561 Marlin 20 Gauge Model 31-20 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 969, 20 gauge, 25 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured between 1914 and 1917. Blued Special Smokeless Steel barrel with single steel bead on the matted top, standard markings, and choke measured improved cylinder. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and semi-pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 3/4 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 13 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 4 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% plus original blue finish, scattered light oxidation, and light handling evidence. The wood is fine with some dings and scratches, varnish wear, chipped buttplate, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 750 - 1,200
