Factory Engraved Schvolcz Signed Fabrique Nationale Superposed Broadway Trap Skeet Shotgun - Serial no. 60268S77, 12 gauge, 27 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/French gray finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1977. Blued steel barrels with a single white bead on the Broadway trap rib, “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL BELGUQUE” and “MADE IN BELGIUM” marked the left and right sides of the barrels, a band of light engraving at the breech, 2 3/4 inch chambers, chokes marked “**$/**$” (skeet/skeet), and ejectors. The French grayed receiver features B-7 pattern engraving consisting of relief floral scrollwork on all sides as well as the trigger guard with open shield shaped initial panel, single trigger, engraved to match top lever, and selective manual safety with gold inlaid “S/UO”. The engraver signature “J. SCHVOLCZ” is found on the right side of the trigger plate. Mounted to a
beautifully contrasted checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with Deely latch, engraved fittings, and Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): Bore 9
inches from the breech .725/.726 inches; choked .005/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .037/.036; drop at the comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at the heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and French gray finishes with limited handling marks, some scattered handling marks mostly on the wood and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

   LOT 3576 Factory Engraved Classic Doubles Model 101 Field Over/Under Shotgun - Serial no. CA9-739, 410 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/stainless finish, walnut stock. Blued Classic Doubles Steel barrels with single white bead sight (mid bead absent) on the matted ventilated rib, 3 inch chambers, modified/full chokes, ejectors, and a spray of floral scroll engraving on either side of the rib at the chamber. Stainless receiver with a pointer and two game birds on the left, a single pheasant on the bottom over “CLASSIC/DOUBLES”, and two game birds on the right with floral scroll and border engraving on all sides, an adjustable trigger, and selective tang safety. Mounted on a finely figured, checkered walnut trap forend and pistol grip stock, fleur-de-lis stock flats, and Old English recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 3/8 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 10 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Factory Engraved Beretta Model S687 Silver Pigeon Over/Under Shotgun -
Serial no. F47134B, 12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/stainless finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1989. Blued Excelsior steel barrels with white front and steel mid bead sights on the matted ventilated rib, a band of light engraving at the front and rear of the chamber, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choke tube system (skeet/improved cylinder installed), and ejectors. Stainless receiver with standard S687 engraving including a scene of two ducks on the left and two grouse on the right, engraved top lever with silver inlaid game bird, single gold washed trigger, engraved trigger guard with “SPORTING” on a ribbon, and selective manual safety. Mounted on a nicely figured checkered Schnabel tip forearm and pistol grip stock with Deeley forend release, engraved fittings, a silver initial oval on the underside of the stock, and Decelerator recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 9/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 12 oz.
  CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with a few minor handling marks, a patch of wear near the muzzle, and crisp engraving. Stock is also very fine with a few minor dings. Mechanically excellent.

Matching Consecutively Numbered Pair of Factory Engraved Arrieta Side Lock Side by Side Shotguns -A) Arrieta Side by Side Shotgun - Serial no. 27939, 12 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with single brass bead sight on the raised solid rib, a band at the breach of each barrel as well as a spray on the breach end of the rib and gold inlaid “1”, the left barrel marked “FCA DE ESCPETAS ARRIETA-EGOIBAR (ESPAÑA), choke tube system, 3 inch chamber, and ejectors. Casehardened side lock action with tight scroll and border engraving as well as “ARRIETA Y Co” on the hand detachable locks and matching engraving on the frame as well as two pheasants on the bottom, dual triggers, gold inlaid “1” on the engraved top lever, and automatic tang safety. Mounted on a beautifully contrasted, checkered walnut splinter forend and straight grip stock with Anson button release, engraved fittings, gold inlaid “1” on forend, and Pachmyr solid recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bores 9 inches from the breech .730/.729 inches; choked .001/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .025/.031 inches; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 15 1/4 inches. weight 6 lbs. 13 oz.
