   LOT 3594 Exceptional Remington Model No. 9 Rider Single Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 156007, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured between 1902 and 1910. The barrel has a single brass bead sight, the choke gauges improved modified, and the chamber is 2 3/4 inches with an ejector. Mounted on a
smooth walnut forearm and Prince of Wales style buttstock with a plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, 85% of the bright original blue finish remains on the barrels with some areas of wear, areas of cleaned oxidation and scattered scratches. The casehardened components retain 85% of the bright case colors with some handling wear that has turned to a silvery gray patina. The wood is very fine with scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
These Remington model No. 9 shotguns do not come up for sale very often, let alone in exceptional condition. Don’t miss your opportunity!

  LOT 3595 Marlin Firearms L.C. Smith Field Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. FWM58182, 12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. One of only 1,959 L.C. Smith shotguns built by Marlin from 1969 to 1974. Double brass bead sights on the matte vent rib, marked “L.C. Smith 12 Ga.” (gold filled) at the breech end. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked improved modified/improved modified, with extractor. Standard L.C. Smith and Marlin markings, blue barrels and trigger guard, with casehardened remaining parts, double triggers, tang mounted automatic safety and mounted with a multi point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a plastic grip cap and buttplate. Comes with a factory Styrofoam

 LOT 3596 Remington Model 1900 “OC” Marked Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 386385, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured between 1900 and 1910. Damascus barrels with single bead sight, marked “K/E/D/V” ahead of the flats on either barrel, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and full/full chokes. The casehardened action featured the scarce “OC” stamping on either side of the action which is explained by Charles Semmer on page 256 of “Remington Double Shotguns” to be a bad stamping that was not caught for over 10 years at Remington appearing on occasion from 1898 to 1910. The gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Plain figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend and round knob pistol grip stock and non-factory added Jostam rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 7/8 inches; drop at heel 2 7/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches; right 7 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue Damascus finish, 75% original case colors with the balance a silver patina, and light handling evidence. The modified wood is fine, with a few minor marks, light edge wear, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 950 - 1,600 LOT 3597 Factory Game Scene Relief Engraved Left Handed Heinrich Hafner 16 Gauge Boxlock Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 1516, 16 gauge, 25 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1933. Blued Krupp-Laufstahl barrels with single steel bead front sight, maker’s mark on right barrel, 2 5/8 inch chambers with single extractor, and choke constrictions of .010/.017 (improved cylinder/modified). The coin finished, scalloped, sideclipped action displays a fox and rabbit on the left, mallards on the underside, and a setter and pheasants on the right as well as a gold “CK” on the toplever. The gun features dual gold triggers, cocking indicators, and tang mounted manual safety. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with ebony diamond inlays, left hand cheekpiece, hard rubber grip cap, and horn buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 3 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% refinished blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence. There is some light insect damage to the buttplate; otherwise, the reoiled wood is very fine with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Estimate: 1,100 - 1,600 LOT 3598 Antique Remington Model 1889 Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun - Serial no. 43163, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with single steel bead on the matted solid rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers with single extractor, and choke constrictions of .026/.025 inches. The casehardened receiver and locks feature rebounding hammers and double triggers along with “REMINGTON ARMS CO.” on either lockplate. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with Deeley style release and round knob pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 7/8 inch drop at comb; 3 1/16 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 15 oz. CONDITION: Very good, retaining 40% original blue finish, 25% plus original case colors mostly in the protected areas, scattered light scratches, and some pitting near the muzzles. The wood is also very good with scattered dings and scratches and worn butt well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 850 - 1,300 LOT 3599 Two Remington Bolt Action Target Rifles -A) Remington Model 37 Rifle - Serial no. 11986, 22 LR cal., 28 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Redfield globe front sight with interchangeable inserts, two casehardened scope blocks on the barrel, and a Redfield receiver mounted rear peep sight. The triggerguard is engraved “K.W.F.”. The pistol grip stock shows attractive figured. The rifle includes a sales receipts for the gun and sights from Abercrombie & Fitch stating the rifle was charged on November 11, 1953 to a Mr. M. J. Winters as a gift for his daughter Kathleen. Also included are a sled magazine, a number of sight inserts, and a brown leather sling. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with wear on the triggerguard and minor handling evidence. The stock is very fine with a few scattered scratches. Mechanically excellent. B) Remington Model 513-T Matchmaster Rifle - Serial no. 148233, 22 LR cal., 27 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Globe front and Redfield peep rear sights with four drilled and tapped holes (with filler screws) on the barrel. The rifle shows standard markings. Includes a leather sling. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish, attractive case colors on the bolt, and light handling evidence. The refinished stock is very fine with a few minor scratches.
