1936. Patridge blade front and adjustable square notch rear sights, with the one-line address on the rib, “SMITH & WESSON” on the left side, and the caliber marking on the right. Fitted with smooth S&W medallion grips. Matching serial number on the barrel, barrel latch, butt, and right grip panel. Includes an original blue steel S&W case, two-piece cleaning rod, and screwdriver.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with minor handling evidence. The grips are very fine showing scattered light scratches. The case is also excellent. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Marlin Single Shot Top Break Target Pistol - Serial no.
2363, 22 cal., 10 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. This pistol is an
assembled Hopkins and Allen target pistol by The Marlin Firearms Corporation
and is identical to the Hopkins and Allen target pistol that was introduced in
1913. Marlin began to assemble these pistols in 1922. Like the Hopkins & Allen
pistol, it has a 10 inch barrel and single action. The top break mechanism and ejector system were
identical to those of the Hopkins and Allen Safety Police revolver. Blue finish, adjustable rear sight,
Lyman bead front sight blade and fitted with checkered plastic grips. The top of the barrel is marked
“The Marlin Firearms Corp. NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A.”. Matching serial number on the front grip
strap, bottom of the monoblock, and barrel underside. This serial number is probably a Hopkins and
Allen number that was already stamped onto the parts when Marlin assembled the pistol. This is certainly a rare piece and most desirable item for the Marlin pistol collector.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish with some light thinning on the barrel sides and some moderate tool marks near the muzzle on the right side. The trigger guard has started to turn a mottled gray patina. The grips are very good with some minor to moderate bottom edge wear and some minor scratches overall. The checkering is sharp. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine.

Second Model Single Shot Pistol with “H.M. Pope” Marked
Barrel - Serial no. 999, 22 LR cal., 8 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish,
hard rubber grips. Manufactured between 1905 and 1909. The top of
the barrel rib is marked “H. M. POPE” behind the barrel address. Standard blade
and notch sights and hammer with cork filled lightening cuts. Matching serial
number on the frontstrap and left grip panel. Includes a Smith & Wesson factory
inquiry into this pistol.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish, light handling evidence,
some rub wear, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Two American Semi-Automatic Pistols in .32 ACP
-A) Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless Pistol -
Serial no. 106049, 32 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1911, the standard two-line,
two-block address and patent dates on the left of the slide, followed by the
circled Rampant Colt. The right of the slide has the two-line caliber marking.
The serial number is on the left of the frame and “VP” on the left of the trigger guard. It is fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with “COLT” banners and circled Rampant Colts. CONDITION: Fine, retains 50% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of light pitting. The grips are very good with moderate handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
B) Remington Model 51 Pistol - Serial no.
PA65987, 32 ACP cal., 3 1/2 inch round bbl., blue
finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured from 1918
to 1934. Fixed blade and notch sights, standard
markings on the frame and top of slide, and checkered
Remington-UMC trademark grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with
some areas of the slide showing a slight plum hue and a some scattered
patches of light spotting/very light surface pitting. The grips are also very
fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Marlin Single Shot Top Break Target Pistol - Serial no. 2617,
22 cal., 10 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. This pistol is
an assembled Hopkins and Allen target pistol by The Marlin Firearms
Corporation and is identical to the Hopkins and Allen target pistol that was
introduced in 1913. Marlin began to assemble these pistols in 1922. Like the
Hopkins & Allen pistol, it has a 10 inch barrel, wooden grips and functions in
single action. The top break mechanism and ejector system were identical to those of the Hopkins
and Allen Safety Police revolver. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger, adjustable
rear sight, Lyman bead front sight blade and brass Hopkins and Allen monogram inserts fitted
into the top of each grip. The top of the barrel is marked “The Marlin Firearms Corp. NEW HAVEN.
CONN. U.S.A.”. Matching serial number on the front grip strap, barrel underside and bottom of the monoblock. This serial number is probably a Hopkins and Allen number that was already stamped onto the parts when Marlin assembled the pistol. This is certainly a rare piece and most desirable item for the Marlin pistol collector. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish remaining with moderate thinning on the barrel sides and a smooth gray patina on the trigger guard. The pistol retains light traces of vivid case color. The grips are
very good with some minor dings, dents, scratches, and some moderate varnish flaking. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine.

Excellent Scarce Smith & Wesson Model 35 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 2756, 35 S&W cal., 3 1/2 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured from 1913 to 1921 with a total
production of approximately 8,350, this was Smith & Wesson’s first attempt
of a semi-automatic pistol. There are two safety devices on the pistol, a revolving
cam on the backstrap and a grip safety on the front strap. The top of the frame is
marked with the three line address/patent dates flanked by Maltese crosses, the left
side of the barrel is marked “35 S&W AUTO CTG.”, the left rear of the frame is marked with
the S&W Trademark logo and the serial number appears on the front strap. Blade front and
frame notch rear sights and seven round detachable magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with a minor ding on the left side of the muzzle, a few minor scratches on the underside of the barrel at the muzzle and some normal usage wear on the sides of the trigger. The grips are also excellent with a few minor dents and handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
