Exceptional Documented Antique Marlin Deluxe Model 1892 Lever Action
.22 RF Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 140802, 22 RF cal., 24 inch octagon
bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1896 with the standard
two-line address and patent marking on the top flat of the barrel in front of the rear sight. The
top of the receiver is marked “MARLIN SAFETY”, and the serial number is on the lower tang. The serial number is repeated in the stock inlet and on the inside of the buttplate. It is fitted with blade front, notch rear with platinum center line, and Marble tang mounted peep sights. It is mounted with a multi-point checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. The included factory letter lists the rifle in .22 caliber with a 24 inch octagon barrel when shipped on 17 August 1896. It is not unusual that the factory
letter does not list the checkered stock as they generally only list pistol grip stocks as a special feature.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% plus of the original high polish blue finish and 50% of the muted original case colors with the balance having thinned to a mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is very fine with some scattered light dings and scratches, and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.

     CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue and vibrant case colors with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeably on the buttplate and lever. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor dings. Mechanically excellent.

CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% of the original blue finish and 97% plus of the vivid original case colors with the
balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is very fine with varnish crazing and a few scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Special Order Marlin Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no.
322517, 44-40 WCF cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured c. 1906-1935, with the standard two-line barrel address/patent marking ending
with August 1893, and the upper tang has the late production “MODEL 94” marking. “44-40” is stamped on top
of the barrel at the breech. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for sight mounting with filler screws in place. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a trapdoor carbine style buttplate
(cleaning rod not included).

Excellent Marlin Model 1897 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial
no. 339292, 22 RF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1906, the barrel has the standard two-line address/patent marking in
front of the rear sight. The model designation is on the upper tang and serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. Fitted with German silver blade front and elevation adjustable semi- buckhorn rear sights. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber buttplate.
