Exceptional Documented Antique First Year Production Marlin Model 1897 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 151420, 22 RF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1897, the barrel has the standard two-line address/patent marking in front of the rear sight. The model designation is on the
upper tang and serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. Fitted with German silver blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered
hard rubber buttplate. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration as well as shipment on June 23, 1897.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish on the barrel and magazine with a slight mark where the elevator slides on the rear sight. Receiver 85% plus vivid original case colors with the balance a smooth silver gray and brown patina. Wood is very fine with numerous limited vertical light scratches and dings. Marlin Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 334085, 32 cal., 24 inch
octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The included factory letter lists this rifle as
having a .32 caliber 24 inch octagon barrel when shipped on April 9, 1906. German silver blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard Marlin markings, and
plain walnut forend and straight wrist buttstock. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 70% bright original blue finish with scattered handling marks and fading to brown on the balance. Wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches and a few hairline cracks on the tang. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 1,000 - 1,500
LOT 3109 Marlin Model 39 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. S1635, 22 S L LR cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Features hooded front sight and block filled rear dovetail on the octagon
barrel with two line Marlin Firearms Corporation legend and caliber marking at the frame on the top left barrel flat.
Casehardened takedown receiver with “Marlin/MOD. 39” marking on upper tang covered by an M.S.A. Co. tang peep
sight. Fitted with a plain walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with some slight thinning to brown. Receiver retains 75%
original case colors with light handling marks and some thinning to a silver patina. Wood is also very fine with scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection. Estimate: 1,200 - 1,700

 LOT 3107 Excellent Pre-World War II Marlin Model 39-A Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. B3468, 22 LR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1940 as indicated by the “B” serial number prefix with beaded blade front and adjustable sporting rear sights, standard barrel markings, smooth forearm and pistol grip stock,
and serrated buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a small spot of oxidation on the
forearm cap. The receiver retains 85% original case colors with some fading on the lever. Wood is very fine as well with a few minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
