DescriptionFull octagon barrel with a ramp front sight that needs additional fitting. Missing bead sight. Matted top flat with integral quarter rib. Two 6x48 drilled/tapped holes for sight base. Has a sling swivel, B.U.G proofmarks and sleeved to current configuration. Takedown Martini action with removable double set triggers/lever assembly. Correct style replacement tang sight checkered straight grip stock with a large (but not Tyrolean) cheekpiece with a swept back style. Heavy iron Schuetzen style buttplate. Checkered forearm with a take down lever thumb rest on the right side of buttstock.

ConditionGood, with 95% blue on the refinished barrel, 20% casehardened color on the action that is turning mostly brown. The stock is very good with light handling marks and good finish. Some wood fills (appear original). Forearm shows repair and large chip of wood missing on the right side. Takedown barrel/action is tight, needs minor action work as it does not fire.

DescriptionTarget weight barrel with a ramp front sight, interchangeable pin head bead. Sling swivel on bottom flat. Rear barrel sight on the integral quarter rib. The sight is a replacement and needs additional fitting. The barrel is marked "FR. JUNG & SOHNE", "BOEHLER STAHL and Suhl". The breechblock is marked "RIEDER JUNG & SOHNE, 18415, SUHL." Martini action with some scroll and border line engraving. Double set triggers. Seat for tang sight which is missing. One piece Tyrolean style cheekpiece stock with a sling swivel and iron butthook.

ConditionFine as refurbished with 70% blue finished on the barrel, and 20% case color on the action turning a dark grey. Very good revarnished stock with some repairs and light handling marks. Very light wrench marks on action sides. The action is fine.

SHIPPING CHARGES. All shipping charges must be paid by the successful bidder prior to delivery of the firearm. If Rock Island Auction (RIAC) is asked to ship the purchased lots, there will be a separate charge for such shipping. Shipping charges will be based upon what it costs RIAC to ship the purchased lots to the purchaser. All items must have shipping insurance; this insurance is mandatory. RIAC will not charge any labor charges for shipping. RIAC is not liable for any acts of omissions in packaging or shipping. Purchased lots handled by outside carriers or packers, including those RIAC may have recommended, may carry their own insurance and any claims for losses or damages should be addressed directly to the outside carriers or packers. RIAC will arrange for packing and shipping at RIAC’s earliest possible convenience. RIAC will attempt to ship as soon as possible; however, due to RIAC’s high volume of absentee bids, shipping can take up to two weeks after full payment is received. In the case of crating or any exceptional packaging, the purchaser will be charged RIAC’s cost from outside agents. Purchaser pays shipping, packing materials, and insurance charges. The shipping of any purchased items outside of the United States is hereby classified as “foreign export”. All foreign export is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
