DescriptionThis is an outstanding example of a like new WWII Nazi standard pattern SA dagger. Complete with it's original brown and orange paper shipping bag from the Carl Eickhorn factory. This dagger has the standard 8-3/4 inch double edged blade etched with the motto: "ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND" (Everything for Germany). The back side of the blade is marked with the small Eickhorn factory emblem that consists of a double circle with the standing squirrel inside, surrounded by "CARL EICKHORN/SOLINGEN". The dagger has a nickel plated cross guard and hilt with the cross guard stamped with a small "WF" stamp, with wooden grip that is inlaid with the small "SA" party emblem at the top with Nazi "Winged Eagle, clutching the Wreath/Swastika " insignia. The scabbard has brown enamel body with nickel plated throat and tip. The hanger is brown leather with nickel plated buckle and tip, with an unmarked nickel plated clip. The original paper bag is wrapped around the dagger. The outside of the bag is stamped with "SA-Dolch" in bold letters and below that it is stamped with the Carl Eickhorn factory logo/markings.

ConditionExcellent overall with some minor drag marks on the lower sides of the blade with 99% of the brown painted finish on the scabbard. Some of the fittings still show their original tarnished look on the nickel plating with some old minor handling marks. The SA emblem on the top of the hilt still shows some of the old original tarnish from never having been polished or cleaned. Certainly an extremely rare and high condition early pre-WWII Nazi "SA" issue dagger.
