|Description||This is an outstanding example of a like new WWII Nazi standard pattern SA dagger. Complete with it's original brown and orange paper shipping bag from the Carl Eickhorn factory. This dagger has the standard 8-3/4 inch double edged blade etched with the motto: "ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND" (Everything for Germany). The back side of the blade is marked with the small Eickhorn factory emblem that consists of a double circle with the standing squirrel inside, surrounded by "CARL EICKHORN/SOLINGEN". The dagger has a nickel plated cross guard and hilt with the cross guard stamped with a small "WF" stamp, with wooden grip that is inlaid with the small "SA" party emblem at the top with Nazi "Winged Eagle, clutching the Wreath/Swastika " insignia. The scabbard has brown enamel body with nickel plated throat and tip. The hanger is brown leather with nickel plated buckle and tip, with an unmarked nickel plated clip. The original paper bag is wrapped around the dagger. The outside of the bag is stamped with "SA-Dolch" in bold letters and below that it is stamped with the Carl Eickhorn factory logo/markings.
|Condition||Excellent overall with some minor drag marks on the lower sides of the blade with 99% of the brown painted finish on the scabbard. Some of the fittings still show their original tarnished look on the nickel plating with some old minor handling marks. The SA emblem on the top of the hilt still shows some of the old original tarnish from never having been polished or cleaned. Certainly an extremely rare and high condition early pre-WWII Nazi "SA" issue dagger.|

SHIPPING CHARGES. All shipping charges must be paid by the successful bidder prior to delivery of the firearm. If Rock Island Auction (RIAC) is asked to ship the purchased lots, there will be a separate charge for such shipping. Shipping charges will be based upon what it costs RIAC to ship the purchased lots to the purchaser. All items must have shipping insurance; this insurance is mandatory. RIAC will not charge any labor charges for shipping. RIAC is not liable for any acts of omissions in packaging or shipping. Purchased lots handled by outside carriers or packers, including those RIAC may have recommended, may carry their own insurance and any claims for losses or damages should be addressed directly to the outside carriers or packers. RIAC will arrange for packing and shipping at RIAC’s earliest possible convenience. RIAC will attempt to ship as soon as possible; however, due to RIAC’s high volume of absentee bids, shipping can take up to two weeks after full payment is received. In the case of crating or any exceptional packaging, the purchaser will be charged RIAC’s cost from outside agents. Purchaser pays shipping, packing materials, and insurance charges. The shipping of any purchased items outside of the United States is hereby classified as “foreign export”. All foreign export is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
