|Description||This pistol is a Spanish copy of the popular four shot Sharps Model 2A and was produced circa 1860 -1873. The barrel has golden designs, "FA EUSCALUNDA" on the upper left, and "EN PLACENCIA" on the upper right. The frame has relief floral vine designs covering most of the metal surfaces aside from the bottom. The plate on the butt that holds the grips also has golden shell type designs. It has a small brass bead front sight that aligns with a groove in the standing breech. The barrel and grip frame are marked with the matching serial number.
|Condition||Very fine. The pistol retains 98% of the gold finish. The remaining surfaces on the barrel have a dark gray patina, and the frame remains mostly bright with a slightly aged appearance. The grips are very good with some slight cracking on the upper right and otherwise only light handling wear. The action remains excellent. The designs and markings are crisp throughout.|

RIAC will not charge any labor charges for shipping. RIAC is not liable for any acts of omissions in packaging or shipping. Purchased lots handled by outside carriers or packers, including those RIAC may have recommended, may carry their own insurance and any claims for losses or damages should be addressed directly to the outside carriers or packers.
