OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Description:

Standard second type conversion with cam operated firing pin. The front end of the gun has been altered a second time. The barrel, forearm, and sights from Model 1874, serial number C,53286, was substituted for the carbine parts. The barrel has the two line Hartford marking.

Rating Definition:

Very good with a gray brown patina overall with scattered pitting. Both ears of the pewter forearm tip are missing. The wood has been refinished.
