PRF - PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED OR RESTORED

This single shot rifle features a No. 44 Stevens action and a Model 52 Winchester barrel. The action is nicely custom scroll engraved with a punch dot background. The front sight is a fixed raised blade, the rear sight has been removed and a tang peep sight has been installed. The forearm is a replacement and the stock has straight grip with a steel crescent buttplate.

Very good. The barrel retains approximately 95% of the its custom finish with thinning on the breech end. The action has a smooth gray patina with crisp engraving. The lever shows generous amounts of the original casehardening colors and the buttplate has a dark patina with some light spotting. The wood is very good as refinished with some scattered minor handling marks. Barrel markings are clear. The action is fine.
