OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Description:

The left side of the receiver is marked: "PEABODY & MARTINI PATENTS / MAN'F'D BY / PROVIDENCE TOOL CO. / PROV. R.I. U.S.A." . The front upper left of the receiver is marked with a small star in a circle over a "B", the left side of the barrel at the breech is marked with a "G E (unreadable) P", there is a hook on the bottom of the P. Bayonet lug on the right side of the front barrel band and a cleaning rod. Large shallow chip on the left side of the stock and moderate chip on the left side rear forearm. Mechanically fine.
