OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Dated 1849 on lock with "Crown/ V. R." cipher. Bored to larger smoothbore, piping for ramrod removed. Smooth straight grip stock with brass furniture and smooth buttplate marked "XXIII/ 1093". With a iron tipped, brass handled rod and a 9" long powder horn with leather strap.
