NPRF - NON-PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED/COLD BLUE, ETC.

Manufactured in 1905. Dovetail Marbles 43 blade front sight and semi-buckhorn elevator rear sight. Two line address on upper left flat of barrel, along with the caliber and two line nickel steel markings. Standard frame with full length tube magazine, casehardened lever, and "MODEL 1894/ -WINCHESTER-/ TRADE MARK REG.IN U.S.PAT.OFF." on the upper tang. Smooth forearm with metal tip and straight grip stock with smooth blue crescent buttplate.

Very good, with 80% of the reblue finish, showing a mixed brown patina on the sides of the magazine tube and the receiver, which has tool marks on the underside and some pinprick pitting, smooth edge wear, and light spotting, and handling marks overall. The stock is fair as refinished, with cracking and chipping around the butt, scattered moderate pressure dents and scratches. The action is fine.
