Manufactured in 1917. It features an adjustable buckhorn rear sight and a blade front sight. Standard two line address on the left barrel flat reads, "WINCHESTER'S REPEATING ARMS. New HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A./ KING'S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED MARCH 29. 1866 OCTOBER 16. 1860." Three line model designation on upper tang, serial number marked on lower. Full length tubular magazine. Plain straight grip stock and forearm, crescent steel butt plate with cleaning rod compartment (cleaning rod not included) and metal forearm cap.

Fair as refinished. A brown patina is forming overall, along with a large amount of moderate to heavy pitting, a dent in the left side of the magazine, and some handling marks overall. The stock is fair as repaired, with a mended crack on the forearm and a number of dings, dents, and scratches. The action is good.
