A) Savage Model 99-G Deluxe Takedown Lever Action Rifle with Scope

Takedown model manufactured between 1922 and 1941. Raised blade front sight with bead, Williams rear sight block and Marbles receiver peep sight. Equipped with a Weaver K-25 scope on Weaver mounts. Pistol grip stock with checkered pistol grip area and Schnabel forearm, serrated Savage buttplate and sling.

ConditionVery good. The barrel retains strong traces of blue in the protected areas mixed with a smooth silver blue patina. The frame retains approximately 95% of the original blue finish with high edge wear the strong beginnings of a smooth gray patina on the underside. The lever retains strong traces of vivid and bright case color (especially in the protected areas) mixed with a smooth gray patina. The stock is very good with some minor scratches dings and nicks and some minor varnish loss. There are some moderate dents on the left side of the pistol grip. Overall, all checkering is sharp. There is high edge wear on the scope and mount. The optics are clear. The sling is excellent.

Ramp front blade sight with bead, rear sight filler block and Lyman receiver peep sight. Pistol grip stock with checkered Schnabel forearm and pistol grip area, serrated plastic buttplate and casehardened lever.

ConditionExcellent with approximately 98% of the original blue finish remaining with light edge wear and a few minor scratches. The lever retains strong amounts of vivid and bright case color. The stock is also excellent with some minor scratches and nicks. The checkering is sharp.
