Description:

1) Poster of a sad dog backed by a gold star wall banner, with text "... because somebody talked!". Printing code 1944-O-579038. Very good, with some folds and tears. 2) Poster of a crying child holding a Captain's hat and wearing a Medal of Honor (presumably his father's, posthumous), with text "BUY WAR BONDS" above and "THIRD WAR LOAN" below. Numbered 1943 542951 WFD-840. Some folds, tears, and tack holes. 3) Poster, black and white raster print, of a GI in a wooded winter scene, with long narrative text ending "I'm the 82nd Airborne, and this is/ a far as the bastards are going.". No printing number. Some water exposure in lower left corner. 4) Poster, Anton Fischer print of a sailor's body washing onto shore, with text "a careless word.../ A NEEDLESS LOSS". OWI poster #36, printing office number 1943-O-506018". Minor folds and tears.
