No visible maker's marking. Pin front and notch rear sights, spur trigger and two piece grips.

OC - FINE- all original parts; over 30% original finish, sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal and wood; minor marks in wood.

NPRF - NON-PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED/COLD BLUE, ETC.

Manufactured from 1865 to 1876. Standard two line W.W. Cowles barrel marking. Grips are ill fitting and varnished. The hammer doesn't always hold a cock position. Some light pitting.
