NE - GOOD- in working condition, wear on working surfaces, finish 40% - 79%, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning, but may have some minor surface pitting. Wood condition commensurable with percent of finish with dings and dents associated with 40% - 79% gun.

Description:

Desirable 1855 rifle with manyard tape primer system, key civil war piece manufactured between 1857 and 1861. Standard Springfield manufacturer markings, dated 1859 on barrel and lock plate. The buttplate is marked "US" with "105" underneath it. Complete with iron ramrod and "US" marked socket bayonet. Metal surfaces have an old cleaning and so does the stock.
