Marked "J.P. GEMMER" on the left ricasso. 9 3/4 inch blade with no false edge, straight spine. Thick brass oval crossguard, with a decorated silver collar atop the ivory grip, which is carved in a ribbed pattern at the bottom. Minor pitting on the blade. The handle is excellent with a mellow aged patina.
