Description:

Pictured in Flayderman's "The Bowie Knife" on page 394. Designed and manufactured by the famous Sheffield England cutlers, marked "ANTI/GAROTTE/KNIFE" on one blade ricasso and "UNWIN&/RODGERS/SHEFFIELD" on the other ricasso. Each blade is 4 1/2 inches long, one single edge, the other double edged and it has a dark horn handle. The knife is 14 inches long when opened. The blades are lock back style with rocker bar locking springs at each end of the handle. One locking button is frozen and will require repair. The blades show normal aging with light scratches or sharpening marks and a few minor areas of very light pitting. A rare knife and weapon.
