Description:

1) U.S. Ames 1840 Heavy Cavalry Sword, 41 1/2" overall, 35 3/4 inch blade dated "1849", brass guard, iron scabbard. Sword good, scabbard dented. 2) U.S. Ames 1840 NCO Sword, 38 3/4" overall with a 32" blade dated 1864, "CSL" marked ricasso and guard, and a brass hilt. Blade spotted, otherwise fine.
