Description:

1) Wood construction, 5 5/8" total length carved raised panels with "V.L. & A" on one and crudely carved "Dreyer" on another and hanging string. Very good with some wear. 2) Very characteristic Perdew duck call made from red cedar turned on a lathe with decorative rings around the barrel and reinforced with German silver bands. Around the center is stamped "CHAS. H. PERDEW, HENRY, ILL.". With hanging string. Very good with some minor dents and handling marks. With a copy of a newspaper article about Dr. John W. Dreyer.
