Description:

The photo, depicting Galland in uniform as a Generalmajor, is approximately 3 3/8" W x 5 1/2" tall, and enclosed in a frame with a 1976 dated letter and envelope from Galland's office in Bonn, addressed to a Herr Jurgen Mosler, with Mosler's ID card from the Gewerkschaft der Polizei (Trade Union of the Police) also enclosed. Included with the lot is a copy of German Commanders of World War II by Kemp, which includes a copy of an unsigned version of the photograph, and a 1st Model Luftwaffe flyer's dagger, 18" long with an unmarked 12 3/8" blade, leather covered sheath, and chain hanger. Lot is very good overall.
