Description:

1) Unsigned blade, 34 1/8" overall with a 26 1/2" edge, wavy temper line, copper collar, two drilled mekugi-ana and a square cut tang. Fair, with some edge chipping and spotting overall. 2) Signed blade, 30 1/4" overall with a 24 1/4" edge, straight temper line, copper collar, single mekugi-ana, 7-symbol signature on the right side and 10-symbol signature on the left. Consignor notes attribute the signature as "Bishukunijo Osafung Kiyomitsu", circa 1562. Fair, with some fading and etching. 3) Signed blade, 26 1/4" overall, 20 1/2" edge, straight temper line, copper collar, and a square-cut tang with 2 mekugi-ana and a 10-symbol signature on the left side. Consignor attributes signature as "Tadakuni". Good, with mild chips and scratches. All 3 blades come in shirasaya mountings, which are in poor condition.
