This famous large bronze depicts a western rider on a rearing horse caused by the rattlesnake under hoof. The bronze base is marked "Frederick copyright/Remington". Mounted on a black marble plinth with a brass placard marked "RATTLESNAKE/BY FREDERICK REMINGTON". The bronze measures 23" tall x 16" wide x 10" deep and weighs approximately 50 lbs. Excellent with a few high edge marks and a couple of minor edge dings on the plinth.
