Description:

Cross in Silver with Swords presented to those who experienced a great deal of combat or participated in a decisive battle and the Cross in Gold with Swords presented for great merit in combat or unusually impressive achievements. Measuring 2 1/4" wide and tall, with the swastika in the center of the cross, a Luftwaffe eagle between each arm of the cross, and backed by a pair of crossed swords. 1) Silver, marked "CEJ" on the back underneath the arm. Showing some exposed brass. 2) Silver, stamped "B&N/ L", with finish absent from the swastika. 3) Gold, marked "B&N/ L". Showing some handling marks.
