Paperwork with gun shows that gun was from the estate of James "Pistol Pete" Bowdoin, a U.S. Prohibition Agent shot and killed while conducting a moonshining investigation in Caryville, Florida, on Feb. 16, 1925. LOP 14", 2 3/4" chambers. Also includes a short biography of Bowdoin.
